I cant find the "LSD as a weapon" post so I started a new one. This post is regarding the person who asked how to make LSD. --------------------------------------------- d-lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) is a synthetic chemical derived from ergot alkaloids which are produced by the ergot fungus which grows on rye. --------------------------------------------- LSD requires an experienced organic chemist to produce. All useful synthesis methods begin with Lysergic Acid which is schudule III. It is produced in crystal form, primarily by a small number of knowledgeable chemists in fully equipped laboratories. The DEA speculates that it is produced mainly in the United States and Canada. --------------------------------------------- Make up a culture medium by combining the following ingredients in about Sucrose .......... 100 grams Add water to make up one liter, adjust pH 4 with ammonia solution and Inoculate the sterilized medium with Claviceps purpurea under sterile Obtain several ordinary 1 gallon jugs. Place a two-hole stopper in Dismantle the aerators. Place all the glass tubes, rubber tubes, Fill the 1-gallon jugs 2/3 to 3/4 full with the culture medium and While these things are being sterilized, homogenize in a blender the Assemble the aerators. Start the pumps. A slow bubbling in each jug Let everything sit a room temperature (25 C) in a fairly dark place After ten days adjust the culture to 1% ethanol using 95% ethanol After total of 24 days growth period the culture should be considered Adjust to pH 9 with ammonium hydroxide and extract with benzene or Extract again with alcoholic tartaric acid and evaporate in a vacuum To recover the free base for extraction of the amide of synthesis to If no source of pure Claviceps purpurea fungus can be found, it may be |

The reason you can't find "LSD as a weapon" is because it was deleted. It was a moronic idea and was culled. Drugs (and their synths)like LSD and Methamphetamine and others not useful for knocking someone out are of no interest to this forum. People who want to know that kind of information don't go to a "Explosives and Weapons" forum. They go to the Hive. Unfortunately they changed it from the way it used to look (like this forum) to some weird honey colored scheme that's hard to read. There is actually 1 chemical weapon that the US Army developed that uses a psycotropic compound to freak people out. I don't have my chem weapons list handy, suffice to say that this substance always causes a bad trip. Only psycotropics that are dispersible and cause bad trips would be of usefulness. Anybody have any idea how to make that compound? I believe the military is forbidden to use such compounds now, so there is little information (unclassified that is). ------------------ |

You're referring to BZ. Here's a link to a site that gives some general information to get you aquainted with it. I've researched it in the past and there are several US patents on making it and dispersing it by pyrotechnic smoke compositions. However, the great expense and difficulty in buying or making the needed precursors rules it out for anyone but a very rich person to try to fuck with it. It's on the same order as making LSD from scratch in difficulty. And I was incorrect, the "LSD as a weapon" topic hasn't been deleted. But it should be. ------------------ Search the archive before you ask. http://members.xoom.com/forumlibrary |
