The infantry and engineering sections have the most interesting FMs.

Dave,

Here is the URL to a great site run by Tom Hunter. This site not only contains links to a large selection of Military Field Manuals but also lots of other great information.

Special Operations.com - Military FM's
www.specialoperations.com/literature/manuals.html

If you cannot seem to connect to the server just wait and try again later. The US Army ADTL Server where the FM's are hosted seems to be either very slow or down quite often.

I hope this helps.

The special ops site may not be showing because the URL has HTML BOLD tags in it. They look like < b > without the spaces.

Delete them from the URL and it will work fine. The spec ops page is just a listing of the FMs on the site I posted. And they're not even catagorized.

If you go through http://155.217.58.58/root/cgisearch.htm you'll know immediately if the whole site is down, or just the file your looking for. Plus you can download the entire FM in PDF format through this site.

And if the FM your interested in has a little padlock beside it, your not going to get it. Active or reserve military only for those.
