Please don't start quoting movies about technical details on weapons. That's almost Ke\/\/L BoMBz. Movies are good for ideas, but not details. The point to a non-metallic weapon isn't to sneak it through an x-ray machine (which would see it anyways), but to be able to walk through the metal detectors armed. And while on the subject of x-rays, why not send a mail bomb with a radiation detector as a fuse? When it goes through an x-ray machine at the post office or court building, BOOM!, no more x-ray machine or x-ray machine operator. If these type of bombs became popular than the job of x-ray operator is going to become very unpopular. And the cost of a bomb with a $40 radiation detector fuse compared to a $100,000 x-ray machine is very favorable to the bomber. This new hazard would require an entirely different technology start being used to counter the threat of a radiometric fuse. Which means big dollars coming out of the budget that could otherwise be used for something big brother wants. ------------------ |

I think, NBK, you have come across a VERY VERY good point. Fear is the biggest weapon anyone has at there disposal. You get people looking over there shoulder or thinking twice about doing mundane things (like x-raying a package for example) and you have more power than the lobbyest's in DC or the traders on wall street (I mean come on, who else runs the US?). Especially if you are good at what you do, terrorize at regular intervals and make good on your threats. as long as you do not get caught, all big brother can do is make idle promises which most people hate. be smart about it and your reign of terror can last years and years. If the people know that there life could be snuffed out in an instant they do not stay happy for very long. ------------------ |

vhmt;> Would certain ceramics be strong enough to replace the barrel?< As I recall ceramics are detectable because they have metallic oxides in thm? I have had insomnia for 10 days so I can't remember. I like the idea, maybe smuggle it in with different components. Maybe a PaCcorngun would work. I think there is a picture of one at InfoPopAcop.com |

Maybe an InfoPoPaCopcorn gun would work. http://www.InoPoP.com who manufacture and distribute UBBS has a picture of one at that home page |

more power than the lobbyest's in DC or the traders on wall street (I mean come on, who else runs the US?). So when someone says something bad about your country you defend it to no end, but when revealing personal ideas you admit to another point of view. Just like when you complained about things like gun control, and then contradict yourself by saying your country is the best blah, blah, freedom, blah, blah. The inopop URL did not work for me. |

what the fuck are you talking about? you are suggesting that i like the gov. dude. nah that is not true. they pass the laws but i said the traders and lobbyists really run the country. two entirely diffrent things, my quick to judge friend. ------------------ |

oh and just because i hate the gun control doens't mean i can't defend my country? or because i hate the CURRENT leaders ideals doesn't mean i cannot defend my country. you think everything is one in the same. kinda narrow minded thinking wouldn't you say? ------------------ |

Yeah, i mean, i hate gun control in the UK, and i hate the gov and stuff like that, but i am very patriotic. ------------------ |

Ho ju Moderator |
yeah being patriotic doesn't mean you can't disagree with anything your governemt does. it means you like/love your country as a whole, which i do. ------------------ |

Vpr: your link goes nowhere. I tried different variations and the UBBS makers page doesn't (obviously) have a gun anywhere on it. "nbk2000: counter the threat of a radiometric fuse. Which means big dollars coming out of the budget that could otherwise be used for something big brother wants.< Maybe that is exactly what 'big brother' wants." What does that mean? That they'll increase taxes or such to buy new equipment? That's probably what they would do, but that also makes them even less popular with the public. As long as the threat is limited to government and no "innocent civilians" are threatened, then the public will resent the increased taxes being imposed on them to keep government officials safe. But if a bomber were to send an x-ray bomb through an airport scanner, killing "innocent civilians" , then the public would support any amount of taxes to be "safe". Especially "for the children". The UNABOMBER is a good example. For many years his only targets were executives and academics. The public didn't feel threatened. But then he said he'd blow up an airplane. That caused major havoc at airports and caused the USPS to stop accepting packages over 1 pound in mail boxes (even after he got caught). Once he did that, the general public felt threatened and this gave the government reason to post a million dollar reward. That lead to his capture. No matter what teds brother says, he wanted the money. Obviously the UNABOMBER had power to cause fear. This is because of his long record of evading arrest. He was basically unstopable. Another bomber using x-ray fuses, specifically targeting places that he knows use x-ray machines to scan the mail, would have an easy time terrorizing x-ray operators. They would likely refuse to operate the machines until a solution to the threat was found. In the meantime people would either have to open their mail and risk getting blown up or not open their mail at all. And people could more easily smuggle in weapons into court houses, jails, etc. since the operators would have to hand search packages, never knowing where the next x-ray bomb may come from. ------------------ |

This seems slightly off topic now... I wanted to mention this documentary that I saw on "The Learning Channel, or "The History Channel". It was about KGB, and American spys. They mention this one case from the 70's (i beleive) where a KGB spy was sent to assasinate someone in the american government (dont remember who). The KGB spy used an umbrella with a spring piston propulsion device built in. He walked past his victom on a sidewalk, he pointed the tip of the closed umbrella at the victims leg and fired. The victim heard nothing, and only felt a slight "bee-sting". During the autopsy they found in his leg 2 very tiny spheres (approx. half the size of a "BB" or smaller). When looked at under a microscope they had found that the spheres had microscopic holes drilled into them. When analized it was found that the spheres contained ricin which slowly released into the victims blood from the spheres. The KGB assasin was caught somehow. And they retreived the umbrella which they showed in the documentary. I just though I would mention that, as it was a pretty clever tecnique to "silently assinate" someone. |

It was a defector from a soviet state, not an american, that was shot with the poison umbrella. ------------------ Search the archive before you ask. http://members.xoom.com/forumlibrary |

Ahhhh, i see... I didnt really remember the details or who it was that was poisoned. The part about the umbrella just stuck in my mind. I guess you saw the same show. Or heard about it otherwise. It was a pretty good idea I thought. |

Ho ju you can decide what silent assasination tactic is the best but if it were me I would use poison from a blowfish. It makes it look like the guy had a heartattack due to high fat and cholesterol(blocked arteries). Easy to cover up. Usually these deaths are not homicidal investigated. Other people might say poison blah blah, but when they check the liver and kidneys they find residue from other poisons. So I advise poison from a blowfish. Its not hard to obtain. Just buy a blowfish from some Japanesse place or you can go to a big city near you and buy it. Or you can buy the poison online somewhere. I have seen it around a lot of places. I can dig up some if you want me to. Also when you get the blowfish you extract it from it. I don't know if its from its blood or some gland. But theres alot of information about it online. Email me if you would like me to help in locating places. Randy |

Also pesticide poisons like cyanide so forth can be detected in the kidneys, liver, and intestines. Yes it is a good idea to use that but I guarantee you there will be a homicide investigation going on about a week after the death due to cyanide findings. Trust me on that. Don't try poisons like that, use mother natures work. Randy |

ok, this is from the post about the umbrella. The person was walking on a bridge and the assasin stumbled into him poking him with his umbrella. There was only one ball, it did have microscopic holes in it filled with ricin. the umbrella worked by having the tip be pused back poking the victim with like a pin that had the ball in the tip. when pulled out the ball would stay. ------------------ |

PyroTechnic, ricin is indeed a good way of killing someone. Yet if you even inhale the fumes, get them in your blood, EVEN let them touch your skin you die. It's extremely hard to get the poison. Yet if your an assassin it shouldn't be hard to get your tools should it? Randy |

Are you kidding? It's ridiculously easy to find the seeds to make ricin from. I typed in ""castor beans" seed" in the google search engine and found this right on the first page of listings: Castor bean seeds, 50+ for $1 & SASE, local grown: 407/891-3010, R R Hargrave, 5798 Leon Tyson Rd, St Cloud 34771 (Osceola) And instructions for making military grade ricin is on my website archive. ------------------ Search the archive before you ask. http://members.xoom.com/forumlibrary |

I hear that prussic acid sprayed in someones face will kill them. Supposedly it goes up the nose when they try to wipe it off and it goes into the olfactory nerve. Within 3 mins he will die. ~Dave |

Hydrocyanic acid (prussic is obsolete) knocks a person out almost instantly when inhaled and will kill them in a minute or two. When someone is sprayed in the face with anything it's a reflex to inhale when startled like that. Cyanide binds with an enzyeme in the brain that controls the breathing reflex. That paralyzes the breathing, and thus kills you. I experimented with it many years ago and in one test I put an adult cockroach in a 1 liter flask and dropped in 1 drop of hydrocyanic acid. The roach was dead in 40 seconds from the fumes, having never touched the liquid directly. So if it will kill a roach, which can survive damn near anything, just imagine getting sprayed n the face with it. The only problem with it is that it is a cyanide and is detectable in standard toxicology scans. |
