Hi everone, i'm new to this page and i would like to say hi to a good friend of mine, Darcy. Anyway, if you want your shot gun to make a huge and utter mess of the animal you are hunting (killing for fun)simplily cut (circumsise)the shotty shells aproximatly where you think the plastic wadding is inside. if you do it correctly only the wadding should be holding the pellet load and the charge end of the shell together (not the plastic you just cut throw...). when fired it acts as a hollow slug (small hole in the front of 44 gallon drum, fuck'n huge hole out the back!!!) WARNING: If you are going to try this, it is vital that you don't have ANY choke on your shot gun as it will blow the gun to bits and kill you! Happy trails my friends! Kill lots of small cute fury animals for me! |

no choke with an 8 gauge at 10 yards will also make a big mess when hunting rabbits and squirrels. ------------------ -The eagle may soar but the weasle does not get sucked into jet engines. -The beatings will continue until morale improves. |

This is what's called a "ringed load". It's best to leave 2 thin strips of plastic on opposite sides to keep the shell together. This is similar to the shotslug on my site. The problem with a cut shotshell is that the base will often fail to eject thus causing a jam. And it can sometimes be so bad that the gun has to be disassembled to remove it. A slug with the shot in it avoids this problem altogether. ------------------ |
