Can someone tell me some commonly used chemicals that can mix with others or itself can be used as explosive? So the next time I goto a drug store I can list what products are using these chemicals, and list the price for these household products...

Regards...

Such chemicals do not exist OTC for a very good reason, no government wants just anybody to be able to make explosives. Yeah, they thought of everyrhing didn't they? There is a catch, you can use some of those chemicals to make other chemicals (that in most cases are used to make still more chemicals) that can be used to make explosives. All of the millions of chemical compounds are built from the same 103 elements (and most from a scant dozen or two). Of course this takes considerable research, effort, time, resources, and commitment. So, no, you can't just mix bottle A with bottle B and get a loud bang.

well...
acetone peroxide... 3 chemicals all available at Home Depot,
H2O2 27% its called cessflow. it is in the drain cleaners section. it says it contains hydrogen dioxide(synonym for hydrogen peroxide) , it is $20 (US) for 2 gallons.

acetone 100% klean strip brand, it is in the paint strippers isle....

HCl 31.45% klean strip brand, in home depot it is in the isle next to the paint strippers(it is in the home depot I go to ) labeled muriatic acid.

and for HMTD,
hexamine, pretty cheap(1 dollar a pound, in form of feul tabs) from gun shows.

H2O2, see above

and citric acid, go to sears, and ask for the drain softners section, there is a wide(prolly about 4" in diameter) bottle, not very tall. it says "automatic rosin cleaner" or "automatic resin cleaner" i cant remember, but it costs $20 for 16 ounces(expensive).

and for ammonium nitrate explosives.....

40% nitromethane available at some hobby shops.
mix this with some nitro cellulose and mix this putty with ammonium nitrate.
the amounts are available at http://go.to/explosives
you may have to add a little more nitromethane because this is only 40%.

ammonium nitrate. fertisliser(never seen it), and in instant cold packs.

well, thats about all the chems I have seen/used.
that are useful
