If i use AP will the AP become more stable when it is in such a mixture. I guess that if one make somethin like that you would want to make a large amount, Would large amounts of this be save if AP was used in it??? I dont think small amouts would be affective. I have once placed a AP charge in the bottom of a coffee can and filled it with gasoline. I lighted the gas before hand,but the blast of the AP killed the flames and there was no fireball. I think With this stuff if would be the same for small amounts, but i dont want to try and make it in big amounts if it is going to be unstable becouse of AP.
nbk2000 Moderator	posted January 05, 2000 07:42 PM AP is generally safer when wet. The patent states that the gel is nonexplosive till it's burned down to 10% of its original volume. But always start out small. Think a cup should be a good amount to start with. The gasoline in a can went out because the explosion blew out the flame. Like an oil well fire being blown out with dynamite. In an open puddle that wouldn't happen. As for effectivness, don't forget that the AP is only an initiator for a more powerful explosive. You have to have an explosive like ammonium nitrate at the very least, preferably RDX or PETN. As for amounts, the patent stated that something like an ounce or 2 was poured out into a puddle on a board and lit. When it went off it blew a hole through the board. Read the entire patent again carefully. These things have to be read several times to understand because they tend to be too wordy. Fjp92 Frequent Poster	posted January 05, 2000 11:54 PM Would egg white work to make it a gell??? I saw this on a anarchy page and made it a few times. Is makes a wonderfull gell but it doesnt stay gell very long, the stuff starts to separate again. I think a good thing about it is that it makes a lair around the stuff when it burns. I tkink this will stop the stuff from burning down all the ingredients and will only let the folatile gagoline be used up.
nbk2000 Moderator	posted January 06, 2000 01:47 AM Stick to what the patent specifies. Styrene (stryofoam pellets) dissolve in the gas will work great. And it won't seperate like egg-whites. It's important to maintain a consistant composition so the explosive is evenly distributed through out. And the explosives aren't going to burn up, they're going to blow up.
