Would the soild fuel from model rocket engines be ok to subitute for the double base smokeless powder?? if so would you mix it with a solvent and then add the AP?? would this work??

Model rockets use a black powder type fuel. No nitrocellulose. So it won't gel into a plastic mass like double base will. Just make a black muss.

if i put some disolved polystirne or how ever you spell it, in with the blackpowder this would help bind it together?? yep, i pretty sure it will

It would stick together, but it would still not be an explosive like AP putty with NC.
