I've held my tongue for a long time on this, but I can't take anymore of it. When people here can't even use the proper spelling for the name of the explosive or chemical they're posting about, what hope is there for them? Come on people, at the very least spell the chemicals name correctly. Some post have so many spelling and grammer errors that it's difficult to understand just what the hell they're saying. Take a few moments to check your spelling. Hell, your using a computer, use a free spell checking program if your too lazy to use a $5 spell checker. Now, of course, the occasional error will slip through and that's OK. Your in a hurry or it's late and your tired. But as an everyday, every post, sort of thing, it's not OK. And most people here are in school (yes you are, don't lie.), so if this is the best the American school system is producing then America is in deep shit. And if your going to flame me, you better make sure you spell "fuck you" correctly or your just proving my point. ------------------ |

There's no excuse for bad spelling when your using a computer. If your typing sucks, read the message before you post it and use a free spellchecker that you can download from any number of places. And you are totally incorrect that poor grammer and spelling are no big deal. If you don't care enough to correct yourself now, is anybody going to do it for you when your older and applying for a job? No. And it also hampers you since you can't use search engines to their full potential if you can't spell the words your looking for correctly. And explosive processes are very critical in the way that you do them. A misunderstanding caused by sloppy sentence structure could cause an accident. And another thing is confusing words that sound the same but have different meanings and uses. To, too, 2, two. Four, fore, four. Witch, which. You get the idea. Learn the differences. Please. Or if your going to confuse them, at least spell them correctly. ------------------ |

This guy had a perfect example of fucked upness but the moderator deleted it because it was so bad. ------------------ |

I tend not to read posts in this forum or in newsgroups if the spelling and grammar is so bad that reading it is hard work. I never trust a post giving instructions on the making of explosives or weapons by someone who can't even spell properly. cheers, Juice |

i think what NBK is saying is that proper spelling (not exactly proper english) will help people answer your questions cause they will be to UNDERTSAND what you want of them. understaning is the key here pyrotek. just slow down the typing a bit and all will fall into place ------------------ -The eagle may soar but the weasle does not get sucked into jet engines. -The beatings will continue until morale improves. |

Pyrotek, you just gave a persect example of what I was talking about. Thank you for proving my point. When people get offended about a post regarding some kind of bad behavior, it's usually because they're guilty of it. The whole point of the thread is to try and encourage people to spend a few moments to think about what it is they're trying to say and not be in such a hurry. Would it really kill a person to take a few seconds and read over what they spent the last ten minutes typing for errors? The way I see it, sloppy grammer, sloppy thinking. And is you don't like this, get fucked by a kangaroo. HA! ------------------ |

A "persect" example huh? I never use a spell checker and I still seem type good. I do hate those non-coherient ramblings of horrible abbreviated paragraphs and I would like it if everybody would at lest spell chemical names correct, they can always catch perople up, so double check. Just today my woman led me on a wild goose chase looking for info on a chemical because she left out a "y" when she told me what it was so I was looking for a completely different chemical, ug ![]() ------------------ |
