Here's a simple homemade safe you guys can make at home for under $30 so you can deep your shit locked up and safe from your friends, siblings, or parents. If you guys got anything similar that you use for keeping your stuff locked up, post it. ------------------ |

I dont have a pic. but you could use a gasoline tank that has a couple of locks on it. and write:
beside put a pipe safe like nbk said that says: CONTAINS 5 POUNDS OF 8O% HY-DRIVE DYNAMITE every body should leave it alone. they cany weld through. they cant cut it because of the caution. if this doesnt work. pat the thieves on the back for being the bravest peeple you have met. ------------------ |

It's bad enough that it already looks like a pipe bomb, but then to put a sign on it saying that it has explosives in it is an invitation for the person who finds it to call the local bomb squad. When they see it, they'll blow it (and your dope or cash) up. Not good. Best thing to do is to keep it locked up out of sight. I keep mine attached to the water pipe under the kitchen sink. By the way Ho Ju I have never seen a safe for $30. Not outside of the toy store that is. Anything less than a couple of hundred meant for locking stuff up is invariably made of plastic or flimsy sheet metal. I know 'cause I have 2 Keep/Safe portable lockers made by Sentry (they make the home safes you find at K-mart). They wouldn't stop a thief armed with a pair of pliers or a screwdriver for more than a minute. That's why I used steel. And also, don't forget, that this is intended to be portable (hence small). I'm building a pocket sized version also. For complete instructions on building the pipe safe go to http://www.50megs.com/nbk2000/skills/pipesafe.html . ------------------ |

The Sentry safe's that are sold for less then 250$(CDN) are only designed to withstand a fire. There is no reason to buy one to lock shit up. |
